Kentuckiana Motorsports

WKYI-TV 24 offers sports at different levels throughout the year. For forty-one weeks beginning with the Daytona 500 in February, the highly popular Kentuckiana Motorsports Presented by Lucas Oil hits the air. This locally produced show is the longest running weekly sports show in Kentuckiana. In 2011, KMS Host Craig Hoffman and Racing Expert Scott Douglass have interviewed the biggest names: Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart, Coke Zero 500 winner and UPS/Ford driver David Ragan, Indy Car Series veteran Davey Hamilton, NASCAR and Indy Car Series driver John Andretti, NASCAR Champion Rusty Wallace, ARCA Champion Frank Kimmel, and a long list of other national, regional, and local names.  Every week, especially during the tense filled Sprint Cup Championship Chase in the fall, the two breakdown weekly races on all levels, and have special giveaways. KENTUCKIANA MOTORSPORTS is about to conclude its 9th season and is one of only a handful of such shows in the country. NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace knows Where You Want To Be and said it best in 2010 after he walked off the set of the fast paced show "That was fun. He interviews big names starts in Kentucky and Southern Indiana, and talks about events in our own backyard. Bob is not afraid to get the audience involved and just have fun. WKYI-TV brings you high school sports! During the football and basketball season Kentuckiana's TV is Where You Want to Be for action from teams in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Fans of local teams can proudly watch their teams as they take to the court or football field. And at other times during the year our cameras spent a little time on other sports too! WKYI-TV 24 supports local schools, fans, boosters, and teams.
