(February 16, 2012)  Race fans get ready at the longest running weekly half hour sports show in Kentuckiana cranks it back up. "It seems just like yesterday we started this" said KMS Racing Expert Scott Douglass. Both Douglass and show host, Craig Hoffman start a news season with a look at the Bud Shootout in Daytona. Also this weekend local drivers including 9-Time ARCA Champion Frank Kimmel and his nephew, Will Kimmel race in the huge ARCA race at Daytona. Lucas Oil driver Bobby Gerhart is a favorite to win. He is already a 7-time winner of that event!

"We have great sponsors back. They and the fans make Kentuckiana Motorsports Presented by Lucas Oil possible" said Hoffman. Those sponsors include Owen Funeral Home, Bright Pest Control, Terry's Satellite City, and PNC Bank as well as Lucas Oil.

Also this week a look at win local tracks plan to gear back up for the local racing season in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. And it comes with sad news that no racing is currently scheduled at Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown. And we'll look at the drivers who are hot, and some sitting in the hot seat as the new NASCAR season begins.
